Returning to My Childhood Dream - My First Piano Lesson
Hello, everyone! I’m Trixie, a 30-year-old nurse, a mom, and someone finally chasing a dream I’ve held onto since childhood. Growing up, learning piano was something I always wanted to do, but due to financial priorities, it just wasn’t possible. Life moved on, and my career as a nurse became my focus. But now, with my daughter by my side, I’m ready to finally bring music into our lives. I had my first piano lesson at NUVO Music School in Langley, and I can’t wait to share this experience with you! Walking Into a Dream When I walked into the school, my heart raced. I had no real background in music or piano , so I was nervous about feeling out of place. But as I looked around, I felt this deep sense of belonging. The atmosphere at NUVO is warm, and it instantly felt like the right place to begin this journey. My First Lesson I met Dessy, my piano teacher , who could tell right away that this was all new to me. I loved her approach—she was encouraging and patient, easing me into t
